Jeff Levinger teamed with trial lawyers Frank Branson, Chip Brooker, and Spencer Browne to successfully represent the victims of a deadly bus crash that occurred in April 2013 en route to the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. With assistance from co-counsel Carl Cecere, Levinger defeated Choctaw’s motion for summary judgment, and then helped to prepare and argue the jury charge submitted by Judge Carl Ginsberg in a two-week trial in April 2016. After four days of deliberation, the jury found Choctaw to be responsible for the negligence of the bus owner and driver, and awarded nearly $12 million in damages to the families of two deceased passengers. Levinger PC also represents several severely injured passengers in similar lawsuits pending in other courts in Dallas and Tarrant County.
